How cool would that be to get a rematch next year in the Herbie? I love this classic because we are making a bigger name for ourselves. I bet Chandler, Arizona would love to play us next year. I know I would love the chance to duke it out with Utah again. Either Utah or Valdosta. That is my suggestion to the Herbie for next year.
What do you all think about a rematch or the next opponent?
Oh yeah living in Pittsburgh I wouldn't mind playing Central Catholic, PA or Upper Saint Clair.

Jordan or Valdosta would be great! But how about Odessa Permian Panthers? This might be the biggest draw in all of H.S. Football! Well, maybe not the biggest, but gotta be close.

its "Lowndes.Jordan keeps talking about a missed feild goal at the valdosta game last year costing them the game.the kick wasnt even close, however they never talk about dosta fumbling the ball on thier 2 yd. line or the interception around their 17 yd line.
sounds like it was an offensive show case last nite and better luck next time.

Perry or Hoover would outdraw any of those teams.

OP is not going to give up a home gate to travel and play in this event. No top team in Texas would do that. The revenue is to much to give up. OP had a good year last year but lately had been down. I for one am getting tired of Ohio pitting bad teams (see LaSalle,Trotwood and Findlay) against decent(not great) teams down here. The teams from this year that played (Cedar Hill etc) will make the playoffs and probably go to the 2nd round. But it still bodes bad for Ohio to keep matching up "trash" teams against us. This is not a true reflection of the caliber of ball that is played up there. By the way, a 5-A school down here has 2500-3000 kids. Imagine that talent pool.
Gonna go dg some ditches now in my yard. I live in the Tyler area and we are supposed to get 15 inches of rain in the next few days from the hurricane. Thats a lot of dew on the ground. People have prayed for rain. God just decided to answer them all at once.

Except Hoover couldnt even bring 2,000 to a PLAYOFF game a few years back. :wall:

Now I know there is a big difference between JV and Varsity games, but Hoover's attendance at the JV game against Massillon in their own stadium was absolutely pitiful.
I would love to see a rematch between the Tigers and Beetdiggers! Besides all the controversy the game itself was very exciting. I thought the game in which we played the Arizona team was excellent too. So far, I have really enjoyed the Herbsteit games we've played in. I do wish the games were back at Paul Brown though. Much better atmosphere, in my opinion.
