Perhaps the lying, thieving idiot should have thought of Pitt as a bigger rival than they were last year. He might not have been last seen on TV whining like a little baby.
Anyway, play on. This is great. Come November when his own fans eat his ass alive for being a moron about the Buckeyes perhaps he'll get it. Or, perhaps he'll just fall into the Redneck Cooper syndrome. Either way,
Warren1st MUST admit I'm right now and this guy is a freaking bozo.

Don't forget that Rodriguez missed his three main weapons in the 13-9 loss to Pittsburgh last year. Add in three missed field goals at POINT BLANK RANGE and we know why Mr. Rodriguez is at Michigan.

Tiger2001,
The kicker's only problem: he did not become a man when it counted. When you are in the storm, it can either make you a man or it can drown you. You know who recruited him...because he is now a Michigan man!
Speaking of POINT BLANK RANGE: Did I tell you I went to school with an inmate who is in prison for shooting at a man at such range and missing him five times?
But anyway, just have your calendar marked 11/22/2008.

Kinda like Michigan should do with App State. To have a rivalry, one team cannot dominate. Plus, say what you want, but there is NO EXCUSE for losing to that team AT HOME. It will be more then this year, you guys have your work cut out for you as long as Tress is on the recruiting trail!

Mass6,
I will give the 55-year-old devout Christian and father of four children (Tressel) that he has done an excellent job in reference to recruiting...he knows Ohio very well and his track record has shown.
But this is also a chance for Rich Rodriguez to set his foot down and show what kind of team Michigan will be under his watch and I look for them to be still in the running for their first Big Ten title since 2004.
Now go finish watching what Michigan will look do to Ohio State since 2003 (and don't forget that James Toney is from ANN ARBOR): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-k1TllSSE4 and mind you, my dad used to bet on boxing and he didn't lose much!

You certainly can. It was an embarrassment and it was another reason Lloyd Carr decided to retire.
I understand that the bars around the campus after the YSU game were in dead silence after the UM-Appy St. game due to their deep, abinding loyalty to their fellow B10 member.
But, yes, OSU is having a good time at UM's expense currently but remember what goes around comes around. UM is too proud an institutuion to let these losses continue and that is one big reason RichRod is at the helm.

And where did Terrell Pryor go? He chose OSU over Michigan and Michigan is a better fit scheme why's. As far as Rich Rod turning the program around. I am sure he will recruit well and Michigan will have good teams. But just look at West Virginia under his watch, every big game they had they choked. I love Rich Rod being the Michigan coach. Because now no matter how good Michigan is that year come the last week of the season I know they will choke.

Since a couple of you have mentioned the Troy State game so I'll give my 2 cents worth. That is a very dangerous game for OSU. If they beat USC they might take Troy lightly. If they lose to USC they might be down and have a tough game with Troy. Troy State has talent and SEC type speed in many positions including the line. I hope the Bucks don't over look that team no matter what the circumstances are.

Choking? Hmmmm ..... I suppose you could say the same thing about Tress then in the last two BCS championship. Which, imo, is bull and so is your assessment of RR. Check this out:
WVU head coach
On November 26, 2000, WVU's athletic department announced that Rodriguez would again return to West Virginia, this time as head coach to replace the retiring legend Don Nehlen. Rodriguez's first season at West Virginia, 2001, was a disappointing 3-8 season. However, Rodriguez's turn-around of the 2002 team is the greatest turn-around in Big East history with a 9-4 record,[citation needed] Big East runner-up finish, back-to-back road wins against ranked Virginia Tech and Pitt, and a Continental Tire Bowl berth. The Mountaineers finished second in the nation rushing with 283 yards per game and fourth in turnover margin. In 2003, the Mountaineers started the season 1-4, and after losing to #2 Miami 22-20, the Mountaineers posted a 6-1 Big East record and tied for the Big East championship with Miami, earning a Gator Bowl berth. That season, the Mountaineers replaced 22 seniors, eleven of which were starters. In 2004, the Mountaineers posted a 8-4 record with a talented team of seniors and juniors, but were ranked as high as sixth during the regular season.
Following the 2002 season, Rodriguez was awarded the Big East Coach of the Year by Sporting News and state college coach of the year for all sports by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association. He also received the 2003 Frank Loria Award from the West Virginia chapter of the National Football Foundation, and also earned Big East Coach of the Year that season. In 2005, he was offered to join the AFCA Board of Directors, and that same season was against given Big East Coach of the Year honors. Despite Rodriguez's success at WVU he was unable to eclipse some of his predecessor Don Nehlen's accomplishments, which included teams that played for the National Championship in 1988 and 1993.
In 2005, Rodriguez and the Mountaineers won the Big East title with freshman tandem Steve Slaton and Patrick White, thus claiming the conference's automatic berth in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS), where they defeated the Georgia Bulldogs in the Nokia Sugar Bowl and a final Associated Press ranking of fifth, tying the highest in school history (other in 1988). Ironically, Pat White was not a starting QB; his opportunity arose from a game injury to Adam Bednarik in the 2005 Louisville game. [3]In 2006, the highly-ranked Mountaineers ended the season 11-2, with losses to Louisville and a shocker to USF. The Mountaineers won a classic comeback in the Gator Bowl against Georgia Tech 38-35, led by Pat White without Slaton.
Repeating off of their 2005 success, West Virginia posted another 11-win season, which was the first consecutive 10-win seasons in school history. The Mountaineers defeated Georgia Tech, 38-35, in the Gator Bowl and finished 10th in the final polls. Rodriguez also had two consensus All-Americans, running back Steve Slaton and center Dan Mozes (who also Rimington Trophy as the nation's best center).
On December 7, 2006, Rodriguez received an offer from the University of Alabama to be the next Alabama Crimson Tide head coach. Despite reports that he had agreed in principle to coach at Alabama,[4] which Rodriguez described as totally incorrect,[5][6] on December 8, 2006, Rodriguez announced he would remain as head coach at West Virginia.[7]
The Mountaineers started the 2007 season ranked #3 in the AP poll and #6 in the Coaches' poll. They were #5 in the nation, before losing to #18 South Florida for the second consecutive time. South Florida eventually moved to #2, before dropping out of the Top 25 after losses (though USF would end the regular season ranked at #21). West Virginia dropped to #12 and #13 in the AP and Coaches' poll, respectively, before rebounding with wins against Syracuse, Mississippi State, #25 Rutgers, Louisville, and #21 Cincinnati. The Mountaineers eventually defeated #20 Connecticut to clinch the Big East Championship and move to #2 in the BCS standings and #1 in the Coaches' poll, both the highest position ever for a Mountaineer football team. WVU's regular season ended at home with a crushing loss in the Backyard Brawl against Pittsburgh.
Rodriguez was one of the most successful coaches in West Virginia history.[citation needed] He was credited with the first back-to-back Top 10 finishes in school history, four consecutive New Year's bowl appearances (joining USC as the only program at the time to do so), the school's first BCS bowl win, three Big East championships, eight wins over Top 25 teams, twenty-six straight weeks in the Top 25, a 30-6 record from 2005-2007, and a home-attendance average of 98% of capacity.[citation needed] Rodriguez brought his unique offensive style to WVU and after a disappointing first year, led the Mountaineers to four straight winning years, in three of which (2003, 2004, & 2005) the Mountaineers won or shared the Big East Conference championship. Rodriguez led the team to six straight bowl appearances (the 2002 Continental Tire Bowl the 2004 and 2005 Gator Bowls, the 2006 Nokia Sugar Bowl, the 2007 Gator Bowl, and the 2008 Fiesta Bowl). - Wikedpedia

Oh, great one, I freely admit that I only have a passing interest in the game of football and will never be KNOWLEDGEABLE like you. I'm not even sure if there are 9 or 11 players on the field or whether the guy throwing the ball is called the pitcher or quarterback. CarlE,
Ohio State gave up way too many scoring runs in both title games against Florida and LSU and those will kill you.
If I recall, after that OSU 7-0 lead, Florida stung the Bucks with a 34-7 advantage on their way to a decisive 41-14 win and then LSU slammed OSU with a fierce 31-0 run after being down 10-0 on their way to a 38-24 win.
It's those edges that killed OSU the last two years.

Great One - If you go back and read the thread, the great "Paul Brown" mentioned that UM didn't have the balls to play a Southern Cal. I say baloney. I stated we've been playing ND since the early to mid 70's. Sure they have been down for a number of years but so was SC in the '90's. My POINT is don't tell me we are afraid to play anyone and for many years ND had great teams. I know that the "Rocket" actually cost us a NC with 2 kick off returns for TDs because stubborn Bo kept kicking to him. Frankly, they put more of a hurt on UM than OSU did many years. Last year I went to the OREGON game which UM lost. Point is I don't want to hear how tough OSU's OOC schedule is and Michigan doesn't have balls.
