I believe Blosser and the board postponed putting this issue on the ballot. Also is there a deadline in applying for funds for this project? Is there any word when it will be placed on the ballot?
We can find all the excuses we want in reference to how poorly MCS are run. Lets not lose sight of the big picture and put the district in a hole they can't easily dig themselves out of. We need to fund the operation of the schools and upgrade their facilities and staff to be top notch. The temporary situation we are in can be corrected through the election process. By voting in qualified candidates the situation can be turned around much quicker than if the district is voted into a financial hole no administrator can get out of.
The DREAM project has been an example we can learn from. Who is hurt most when facilities aren't built (classrooms, locker rooms, and stands). We should constructively focus our efforts toward correcting the primary problem and not take steps that hurt innocent third parties and more often than not do little to change those we directed those negative actions toward.
